Love takes many forms… and sometimes it’s holding a bouquet, making a dramatic proposal, or being awkwardly expressed by a daemon or a Tyranid.

To celebrate creativity, humour, and the joy of the hobby, we’re excited to announce our next miniature painting competition:

This competition is all about interpreting romance in your own way — whether that’s cute, funny, dramatic, or completely unexpected.

The Theme

Create a miniature scene inspired by love, dates, or romance.

You can enter:

• One miniature on a base up to 50mm, or
• Two miniatures on a single base, interacting romantically

Ideas include:

• Proposals
• Handing flowers
• Characters dressed up for a date

• Comical takes on love, like unlikely couples or ironic embraces

Your interpretation can be sweet, silly, or totally chaotic — we love seeing personality shine through minis.

How to Enter

• Competition runs from Monday 9th to Thursday 27th (form will be closed after that date)
• Submit 3–5 clear photos of your painted miniature
  • No collages
  • Show all angles clearly
  • No extreme crops
• Include a short description of your miniature and concept

Prizes

The winner will receive a small hobby bundle including:

• A quality brush
• A couple of paints

And of course… eternal bragging rights with entry into our Hall of Fame ❤️
