WARPStorm 2025: Another Incredible Weekend of 40K in Cyprus

WARPStorm, our Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament, has officially wrapped up its third edition and what a weekend it was. With almost 40 players once again filling the hall, it’s clear that the competitive 40K scene in Cyprus isn’t just alive… it’s growing stronger every single year.

This year brought a wave of improvements: more enthusiasm than ever, armies painted to an even higher standard, and brand-new upgraded terrain that gave every table the professional competitive feel it deserves. But one thing remained exactly as strong as always. The sportsmanship. Across every game, every round, and every tight moment, the level of respect and fun shared between players was outstanding. That consistency is what makes WARPStorm feel special.

Competition was fierce this time. The overall scores were noticeably closer compared to previous years, showing real improvement across all skill levels. In the end, the top three spots were claimed by our international guests from Bulgaria and Northern Ireland.

Best Painted Armies

As always, the painting side of the hobby shined just as brightly as the competitive tables. This year’s top painted armies were an absolute joy to look at:

Chaos Knights – Dilko Dimitrov

Tyranids – Alexey Vetrov

Chaos Daemons – Sokratis Yiannakou

Huge congratulations to all three — and thank you to Supernova Hobbies for sponsoring the prizes that went out to these talented hobbyists.

Sportsmanship Award

This year’s Sportsmanship Award goes to Konstantin Labin. The votes spoke loud and clear — seems like he’s genuinely a great guy.

Wrapping Up

WARPStorm 2025 showed once again what our community is capable of. Great games, great people, and a scene that keeps growing in quality, competitiveness, and spirit. Every year we see new faces, stronger lists, better terrain, and more energy — but the heart of the event remains the same: players who love the game and make it fun for everyone around them.

Thank you to everyone who played, painted, supported, spectated, or helped behind the scenes. You’re the reason WARPStorm continues to level up year after year.

See you at the next event, and until then… roll hot.
