The Warhammer 40K World Team Championship (WTC) has just concluded, and what a phenomenal experience it has been for Team Cyprus! As newcomers to this prestigious event, we couldn't be more thrilled to share our remarkable journey with you all.
Representing a small country like Cyprus in a global event of this magnitude was an honour. Marios Kontopyrgos, the Captain of Team Cyprus, worked with our growing WARPGaming community back home to set out and join the ranks of 35 other nations, each fielding their best Warhammer 40K teams. Our excitement knew no bounds as we made our way to the event, ready to immerse ourselves in a world where our passion and hobby took centre stage.
The camaraderie that enveloped us from the moment we arrived was overwhelming. Meeting individuals from all corners of the globe, united by a shared passion for Warhammer 40K, was an experience unlike any other. The energy in the air was electric as we exchanged stories, strategies, and tips with fellow players who understood the intricate details of our beloved universe.
For us, coming from a small country with a budding Warhammer 40K community, the WTC was a true eye-opener. The sheer scale of the event showcased the extent to which this hobby has grown and how it unites enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. Our hearts swelled with pride as we realised our passion connected us to a global family of like-minded individuals.
Throughout the tournament, we faced teams with varying playstyles, strategies, and skill levels.
